WERK

Here’s a list of some crazy cool productions I’ve been so lucky to perform in. Slowly but surely, I’m going to create individual pages for each of these productions and link you to the footage plus details about the incredible cast, crew, casting office, etc for each one. For now, enjoy the list —

  • *itch (pilot) – I played the lead. This was written and directed by one of my all-time favorite people to create with, Scott Smith.
  • Learning Curve (pilot) – I played the lead. This was written by a couple of super talented improvisers I performed with a few times. My character got to fall in love (with fellow crazy talented actor Levi Boyd!) and get a pie thrown in her face in high school. It was the best. Also this set is where I met Brad Rickert, who is a damn national treasure.
  • DISCONTINUITY (short film) – I played the lead. This was the first thing I auditioned for without having previously known the creators. Also the first time I got paid to act! It was an incredible experience, and such an honor to work with the incredibly kind and gifted Lori Felker.
  • Google Duo (VO, commercial) – I played the toothbrush. This was the first thing I booked when I moved to LA. I remember being a new student at The Groundlings and having my mind blown that I was on set with actors who were already in Sunday Company there. What a treat.
  • SoFi (commercial) – I played an Assistant Director. I know that must sound confusing. I wasn’t in the crew, but I got to pretend to be. And I think I was pretty convincing because one of the Extras approached me for information that you would approach an A.D. for. Also I was newly pregnant when we filmed this, and I went the wrong way on the highway on the way home, which made my commute like 4 hours instead of 1.5.
  • Amazon/Alexa (VO, commercial) – I played a mom. After I found out I was going to be a mom. I had two kids. One of the kids looked legit like what Jack might look like when he grows up.
  • Armor All (commercial) – I played a Viking Queen! I remember Wardrobe telling me that my costume was the most expensive, and the hair and makeup ladies that gave me the most exquisite braids and curls ALSO DID HMU FOR XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS. I was enamored. Still am. Honestly if this is my claim to fame, I’ll be supes happy about it. Also I had just given birth to Jack when I booked this, and I had to pump on set like every 2 hours. #MomLife be cray.
  • eBay (commercial) – I played a shopper with a great laugh. I also had to pump on this set. First they gave me a boujee private trailor. But then we moved locations, and I had to pump a second time in a bike shop bathroom with no toilet seat. Ha. It was iconic.
  • The Captive Nanny (Lifetime Movie) – I played the first captive nanny. Not the lead, but the very important flash backs + cold open + climax. So I’m forever pretending like the movie was named after me. 😉 Seriously this was such a great experience. I got to go to Detroit to film, I worked out at the hotel gym and got to eat sushi all by myself. ‘Twas glorious, and I think the producer Danny should run for POTUS.
  • IONOS (commercial) – I played a programmer. This was the first thing I booked in the pandemic. The wardrobe lady let me keep my super cute outfit.
  • Adobe (commercial) – I played a boss. Named Taylor. They gave me a name! We didn’t have any dialogue, but they still had us improvise, and improvising a parachute charity with Reed, Leonard and Ben for hours was the most fun. Also this set was stunning and the director was super famous and French and had a cool hat and it was all a delight.
  • Vroom (commercial) – I played a wife. My hubz bought and sold our car super easily. One time I set “zoom” instead of “Vroom” and then I sad “fuck!”, and I thought I was going to get fired. Also it was like 3,000 degrees outside that day, and the makeup lady lent me her tiny fan to stay cool and the second a.d. gave me endless water, oh and I fell in love with the covid safety guy because he fixed my finger when I cut it on a cup and when you’re a mom and you have to take care of another human 24/7, it’s so nice when a strong man gently takes care of you for a second. YOU KNOW.
  • Credible (commercial) – I played a wife. Again. I think the universe did this for me to remind me that maybe I actually don’t want to be a wife? Well, maybe someday. I think I’d rather have a husband than be a wife, tho. If you get that, you get that. Anyway this was another insanely hot day, but I have zero complaints because there was a man in an animatronic bull costume who had it way worse, and I feel like he should have been paid more than all of us.
  • Postman (commercial) – I played a literal ROCKET SCIENTIST. But like a chic one. I mean they made me look hella chic. This set was so bomb. All these servers in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed every single person on this set. Adam Lisagor is a national treasure and his production company SANDWICH should run the universe.
  • Opendoor (commercial) – I played a stager. Like a real snobby one. I got to ‘shoo shoo’ my scene partner out of my way as I described my vision for her home. Ha. Oh the audacity. My favorite part of this set was probably brainstorming insane movie ideas with the HMU ladies.
  • Quickbooks (corporate/educational/industrial) – I played the accountant. I don’t think I’ve ever been on a set with more beautiful people. It was insane. It was like everyone was just sculpted into the most radiant humans on the planet.
  • Shipt Shopper (commercial) – I played THE SHIPT SHOPPER WHAAAAAA. This was also crazy fun. The family I shipt shopped for was adorable, wardrobe women made me cackle more than my favorite standup comics can, I felt like the second A.D. was my sister, the reps from the agency and client were all a dream… like I almost felt like we were friends IRL… and the director was/is a total pro who made me feel like every note was just actually a warm hug.
